Registration is now open for Learning Tree’s Essentials of Cloud Security Management training class coming up in February and Learning Tree’s Mobile Application and Device Security Management training class coming up in March. Both classes are being offered by Security Operations and Services (SOS), a unit of Information Technology Services, at the significantly reduced rate of $250 per class, which includes lunch each day as well as morning and afternoon refreshment breaks.

Essentials of Cloud Security Management

In this course you will learn how to:

  • Analyze and implement security for public and private clouds
  • Establish data integrity and privacy in the cloud to manage risk
  • Maintain platform security and protect data confidentiality
  • Protect networks, operating systems, and applications in various cloud deployments
  • Achieve organizational cyber security compliance

As organizations transition to cloud computing technology, security issues are a vital concern. In order to protect sensitive data and maintain regulatory compliance, you must address the unique cyber security challenges faced when moving to a cloud environment. Mobile Application and Device Security Management

In this course you will learn how to:

  • Develop secure applications for Android and iOS
  • Leverage OWASP best practices for secure application development
  • Identify and mitigate the most significant threats to mobile apps
  • Protect application data at rest and in motion
  • Implement optimum platform-specific application security configurations
  • Secure credentials in Android and iOS Keychains

In this course, you will learn to mitigate the risks associated with mobile devices as well as how to develop and deploy mobile applications. You will also learn how to implement an effective mobile-device security strategy for your organization; identify potential flaws in proprietary, third-party iOS, and Android applications; and leverage development and security best practices.
