With the snowy weather still blanketing parts of Pennsylvania in these last few weeks of winter, you might find yourself staying at home rather than trekking into the office. Thankfully, you can still access software tools like Microsoft Office Suite from the comfort of your personal computer.

With Software at Penn State’s Work at Home Program, current faculty and staff members can purchase Microsoft Office Suite for their personal computers at a significantly discounted rate. Microsoft Office is available to download on both Windows and Mac operating systems, and there’s a limit of one download per employee. Keep in mind, software must be used for business purposes only.

In addition to taking advantage of the Work at Home Program, employees can always use the free, unlimited cloud storage with Box at Penn State to access their files from any location or device. You can also work in Microsoft Word and Excel right on Box with the Office Online feature. For more information on using Box Office Online, check out the quick start guide on the Training Services Resources page.

So regardless of where you’re working, make sure you’re prepared with the right tools.
