We’re excited to announce that in early July, IT Training Services will be changing its name to IT Learning and Development (ITLD) and relaunching its website as itld.psu.edu.

Since beginning in 1998, IT Training Services has continuously grown to better serve the evolving technology needs of the Penn State community with performance support and resources. Beyond the live, face-to-face, and online training workshops we offer, we have been working hard to grow our capacity to provide a variety of other performance support resources to help faculty, staff, and students get the most out of University technologies.

We continually serve on IT project and service teams in order to design and develop high-quality learning resources including self-paced instruction, learning paths, eLearning tutorials, documentation, and more. Our new name better reflects our focus on professional development and our goal to support IT learning across the organization.

In addition to the new name, we are equally excited for our new website, which will make searching, browsing, and requesting our wide variety of learning resources much easier. The site will also allow you to explore our newest type of offering: Learning Paths, which curate the best learning resources on a given topic to help you build your skills and knowledge from start to finish. In addition, the new site will include news and updates via our blog. You can look forward to a redesigned monthly newsletter in the coming months, too. Check out these sneak peeks of the new site below:
